I have a theory that the NYR are the cashcow of the league. The league wants to sqeeze as much money out of the NY market as possible and will do anything it can to keep the faithful unsatisfied with championships ...

... why wouldn't the league want such a marketable team to achieve? Worst case scenario, the Rangers win a few Stanley Cups, they pick up hundreds of thousands of bandwagon fans, and they become even more marketable.

I think the Rangers are one of the last teams the NHL would want to screw over, if we are talking about it from a monetary standpoint.

There its no bias, just incompetence. I think it has gotten worse since the implementation of the two ref system and all the new rules.

Your arguments are very plausible, yet I'd doubt that a couple of cups will make that much of a difference. And I believe in the viciousness of the league.

Does any video work for you? I found that from time to time my mac gets weird and won't play video. Restarting it fixes things.

If yes:
- Try using a different browser
- Try updating flash

See if other video content websites work. Netfllix, Youtube and so on
