I like our lineup and rotation. I don't like our bench though until Masa comes back or Roman is called up. They don't have a big bat to call on in a close and late game. If you've got the bases loaded and two out with Cedanne Rafaela due up, you could only really go to Refsnyder.

Excited about this season. Cautiously optimistic. Gotta stay healthy. The pen scares me a bit. But no doubt we'll be better than last year.

With Cole out, the East is wide open. Baltimore's pitching is suspect, Toronto is on a downswing, and Tampa is homeless. Not saying we're favorites but we should be playing meaningful baseball until at least the tail end of September.

I'd go with Rafaela. He was one of the best hitters in the clutch for the Sox last season.
