Steel is very interesting, what kind of asset would he cost?

Some sort of interesting asset(s) that are less valuable than a first round pick (because Steel no longer carries that much value) but more than spare parts.

Could see a change of scenery swap involving another young player, but the Ducks aren't really short on depth.

Maybe a late 2nd or decent prospect + mid round pick?

I think we're talking young, cheap guys. You know, if a team has a former first round pick who like 4-5 years later still hasn't cracked your team because they're top 6 or bust and they can't crack your top 6 and aren't gritty enough to play in the bottom 6 so they are in the AHL putting up big numbers. We swap a draft pick and give them a shot on our decimated big club.

Ottawa is being decimated by injuries. Batherson, Norris and Brown look to all be out for a while and there is room in Ottawa’s top-6 for a young reclamation project to get good minutes as a final opportunity to prove themselves.

Probably not, to be honest. Maybe Forsberg will be available at the deadline, but definitely not now. Mete would be available, and maybe Josh Brown, but I don't know if you can call either of them an upgrade. Del Zotto would be available but obviously not of interest.

I hope he gets called up soon. Who goes does though? Blake needs to move Moore (who I realize has been exceptional), Grundstrom, and AA to make room for some of these guys to come up and stay.
