Not the chucklef***s on the Flames broadcast saying that they can't believe Bouchard is even being considered or talked about for the 4 nations cup roster.

too long

far too long
I think he's played his way off of that roster. He's just supplanted by Makar and doesnt really have a role on any Team Canada roster, imo.

If he was playing like he did during loffs, then it's a different story. But, given the rosters are being named in the next couple of weeks (I think), him and skinner are cooked imo.

That's the narrative coming out of Toronto too. Like I give a f*** though, they wouldn't even give Bouch the credit he deserves having a Conn Smythe caliber run in the playoffs. The whole hockey world wants Bouch to fail. Won't happen though, too much talent there.

Skinner was good 👍
At least one of them was.

Nice game

Oilers win the North again. heh. This game felt like going back in time to the North division season. Felt exactly like that. All OIlers and winning again. We beat the Sens 9X that year and frankly they didn't look any different tonight. Tough game for the Sens fans to watch. Entertaining club but they sure don't defend much. By miles this is the most open ice the Oilers have seen on the roadtrip.

Booch with the goal that every D dream of their whole lives. End to end rush, go through whole team, tuck puck in. Just perfect That good. You score a goal like that and know its probably the best you'll ever get. Slow clap, what a game from Booch and very important goal to get some positivity flowing back on the bench.

Thought Pods was decent in support on McDrai line. I'll credit KK, I wouldn't have done this but it worked against sens.

Emberson with probably his best game as an Oiler and I'm liking his play generally.

I still have major questions about most of the forward group.

That first goal was just filthy. Looked like an elite forward on that play.

For a D like I said thats a goal you dream about. Even as a star D you score about one goal like that in the NHL. Incredible goal. Single best goal scored by an Oiler D since probably Coffey. I mean for artistic pts thats a 10 across the board. Boys gonna be having some fun tonight. Oh wait, its Ottawa....

95% of Defenceman in the NHL will never score a goal that nice.
Paul Coffey on the bench trying not to react. Heh, Coffey is so stoic. Kind of was as a player too. I would've been high fiving Booch. honest. What a f***ing goal. Goals like that, its the reason we watch. You see a goal like that and you won the lottery for entertainment.

Oilers were extremely entertaining tonight and Prime maybe extremely pissed they got nothing out of the Oilers in their game. lol. I'm OK with that actually.

Well its a bad play from Chabot lol. If our dman made that play he would be lambasted here. But I think the fact that Bouchard is a shooter allowed him to make that play. Chabot probably thought he was going to shoot. Maybe a learning lesson for our forwards. Shooting more keeps defense and goaltenders more honest.

For all the hate that our coaches get when they put McDrai together, it usually works. Especially in the regular season. Great game from them.

Good game from Stuart Skinner.

Glad to see RNH not only score, but actually hustle to score. Maybe he'll get in his head he can't just keep floating around out there and start trying to drive the play.

Even Bouch barely cellied lol. McDrai's too cool for measly points attitude is rubbing off on the whole team. Not sure if it's great for the confidence of young players though, they should be ecstatic when they score a beauty like that.

You just gotta love that Booch went for it there. 90% of D would never even try to do that play. The 10% that do dream about making it. This could very well be the NHL goal of the year, especially considering Booch is a D in a classic end to end rush. Wow. That goal was worth the price of admission and I think even Sens fans gave it a clap. I would, I definitely would. You just tip your hat. Fans come to see McD and Drai come to town and work some miracles on ice and then Booch does that. No words. That ones a present under the tree.

It works for a game or 2. Then they both get cute and lazy defensively, lol

Booch enjoyed it a lot in his own way. Could see that on the bench. It was a kind of Pinch me I'm dreaming reaction. f***ing love it. His look on the bench was hilarious. Love the guy.

I got all the time in the world for Bouch. Won't forget his playoffs like I never forgot Drai's stud first playoffs. You keep players like that and deal with the warts/growing pains in the doldrums of the Regular Season.
