Realtime RSS Updates

Is there a way to get real-time RSS updates and modifications? Basically, I’m looking to get a notification the moment something is updated on another site.

I tried apps like Inoreader but it seems that it only updates when I open or refresh the app.

Have you considered and tried RSS extensions for your web browser? You'd still have to have your browser open, but that might be the easiest solution.
