Something I have been thinking a long time. This team had a great off-season, signing a top 10 goalie and one of the best coaches in the league, yet when the season ended, there was a 60% chance they were going to miss the playoffs in a league where half the teams get in. If you read opposing boards, the general consensus is that Florida is better than their record (some of it is due to lack of knowledge-see the amount of people who thought Trocheck was still good) but I generally agree. I have no real idea of how to fix this team without overhauling the roster. They don't play defense and generally seem disinterested. Move Barkov? Huberdeau? I don't know but trading Colton Sceviour won't solve anything... Discuss.
This discussion is really not relevant to Tallon, I don't want this to be an expansion draft discussion again. I thought he had a good off-season and the team is clearly underperforming and I don't see how a GM change alone fixes anything, Tallon or the next guy will have to make roster changes and I don't even know where he'd start.
