Prospect Info: Realistic upside of Edmonton prospects?

gross. if that's all we have as top end for all these guys, the Oilers are in big trouble. I get that not every player turns out, but there is no way the Oil strike out on all these prospects, not one top line forward or top pairing dman? gross.

He listed Nurse as having elite #1 upside and Draisaitl has top line potential but he'll probably play behind RNH here for the foreseeable future.

If a prospect outside of this list makes the team I'm surprised as hell.

I don't think Gernat will be #5. Maybe a #7 extra dman. He needs more development time i think

IMO we left more talented prospects on the table, and I still say he was taken to high. I don't see why we couldn't have taken Ristolainen as he's a RHD which was/is a significant need. No, instead we pick up yet another LHD where we have tons of prospects coming up.

Leon will be better then RNH if he can improve his skating. I was more impressed with Draisaitl then I was with RNH in his draft year.

I believe we have learned our lesson about prospects. Nurse was good enough in camp to make the team. We are taking a gradual approach to Klefbom as well, and I think we are going to play it safe with Draisaitl. He may still make the team right away, but if so it won't be as 2C.

Apparently we're also spending more on development. I'm expecting this upcoming crop of prospects to succeed. We can aim high with this group.
