Do people like Tij Iginla as a draft pick or are they going with BPA? I remember asking about him on the prospects thread and no one really had anything to say about him.

I think Iginla and Catton are the best forwards available most the time when running this sim. I like both of them a lot. Really can’t go wrong with any of those forwards from the WHL, IMO (Catton, Iginla, Lindstrom, Basha, Ritchie)

Most of the people I respect have Iginla ranked pretty highly, I’m all for picking him if he’s there.

The draft picks are from puckpedia. Both puckpedia and capfriendly have us low in the first round (28th and 30th), but based on the trade details, I think @Frk It is correct and we should be higher. The issue is that tankathon only has the first 2 rounds... I'm not sure what to do with that for now. I'll keep looking for the best solution.

Feel free to suggest a website if you think they have the best draft order (with the full 7 rounds).

I drafted 6:01 Nygard, 6:06 LeTourneau, 6:06 Pulkinen, 6:02 Fischer, 6:03 Zether, 6:07 Satan, and 6:05 Laing. One of those SOBs has to be able to play hockey and be as mean as a rattlesnake

Hey no problem, glad you enjoy it! And yeah, for sure, just like last year I will use McKenzie's list and fill the rest with Central Scouting's. I think it's the best possible list we can use.
