New update:
- Updated picks based on the final regular season standings
- Added a draft lottery on the second screen (optional) @Barry Amsterdam
- Added a scroll view for the draftable players instead of taking the entire vertical space lol

I've tested the draft lottery a lot and it seems to work fine but please tell me if you find any bugs. Thanks!

GL HF!

I found an occasional bug with the lottery. Occasionally it’ll drop the wings to 14th? if a team below them wins the lottery and they drop below cbj for some reason. Dosnt happen often and probably not even worth a fix

It took me about 6 tries to win the lotto. You should fix that bug because you know we’re never going to win it.

Actually, it can happen: 2025 NHL Draft Lottery Odds | Tankathon

This is what I used for the odds. 14 has a 0.2% chance of happening, so yeah it will probably happen irl ;)

One with unrealistic fall back for trades scenario and one with none

Spence is a do not draft for me. I don’t think he’s got the smarts to be more than a bottom 6er at max.

Also saw on the prospects thread that Malcolm Spence is expected to play for the University of Michigan. So we'd get to see his development up close. Like I said, I've never seen him play, but if there's no Euro who's a take at 12, Spence checks off a lot of boxes for a Kris Draper draft pick.

Does this match in any way what you've seen from Spence?

Does this write up change your opinion at all? Legit interested in how firm you are in your take on him.

These write ups make me wonder if they’ve watched the same games as me.

When I’ve seen Spence I noticed a lack of engagement when the puck isn’t on his stick. Getting lost in the offensive zone when his teammates cycle and skating himself into coverage to remove himself as an option.

He’s very athletic for his age. I think that’s been his biggest advantage and why he’s had good scoring totals in junior. But I don’t think he’s a very good creator when not carrying the puck on the rush and doesn’t make himself an option for teammates. There’s some Jake Virtanen and Colby Barlow in his game. I’m not a fan of it.

He’s likely going to be a player but I have a low level of confidence in his upside.
