Re sign Suter?

If he can be signed to a tradeable contract I'm all for it. Hopefully he can perform until Allvin can figure out a move or two, and/or until we have more options in next years offseason.

I’d pay him whatever he wants as we desperately need a player like him but I’d only pay him whatever he wants with no protection to a trade.

Attaching a full NMC would be an absolutely insane move given where this franchise might end up in a couple of seasons.

Show him the money but we need to protect ourselves at the same time.

If it comes down to a choice of signing either Boeser or Suter, there's not much doubt who would represent the greatest value. It's Suter....and it's not particularly close.

He's versatile--can play center or wing. And is one of the 'go-to' guys on the PK. And more importantly the AAV on his contract would likely come it at half of the cost of re-signing Boeser.

Unless its something stupid like 5x5 here there is absolutely zero reason for Pius to not get to July 1st where he will get a stupid 5x5 anyways from some team.

He owes us nothing. He knows every team has space. He gone. The chance to sign him was a long time ago. Its since passed.
