This guy stinks, and if you give him anything more than a one year prove it deal, you're gonna be disappointed.

Finally he can go to Montreal and we can stop having Mantha to the Habs threads.

He just isn't a good player. I imagine he gets like 1 year @ $3M. Buyer beware on term with him.

Can see him signing a cheap team friendly deal to play on a contender. Maybe hook back up with Holland in Edmonton if he doesn’t retire.

Toronto too should be interested if the price is right. If he’s motivated, he’s an excellent depth piece to have.

You don't win with guys like Mantha.

Always have to question his battle level, consistency and defensive game.

So unless he's willing to take a low $ deal just to be a depth scoring piece, he should be non-playoff team bound unless someone wants to make the mistake.

With the right motivation/coach I think he could be a consistent 40 goal threat.

I wonder if he ends up a Carolina reclamation project, considering Guentzel is 99% gone. If anyone can get him playing the right way, it's Brindamour.

he has scored 20 goals once in last 5 seasons

He’s averaged 22 goals per 82 games played over those five seasons. He’s just played a lot less than 82 most seasons, some because of injury, some because the “past five seasons” include Covid-shortened ones.
