This is a joke correct? 85% of folks here hate Matheson.
Those are the key words…..

Have you ever participated in a GDT during the actual game??

It’s like watching Italians watch their football national team losing, lots of “Vaffunculo’s” and shouting and rage, it’s the nature of this place.

I wouldn’t parallel the mood of the team in the real world and the mood of the team in this place lol

HF has its pluses bad damn it can turn ugly quickly!

The only move that I'm almost entirely against is signing Ekblad. I have a really bad feeling that contract will not age well starting in like year 2. That being said there just aren't a lot of good options and this is where the management team will have to get the most creative as far as I'm concerned

I don't expect much and I know I will be disappointed.

I've posted plenty to back up my point. Please do the same or do not respond.
Who cares about advance stats lmfao. Just watch him play and listen to what his coaches/fans says about his defensive plays. The knock on Dobson was always his defensive plays.

Ps: i’m gonna do whatever i want lmfao, « do not respond », CSI Hfboards.

Ideally Ekblad but that’s very low probability, a trade for Andersson would be my next preference… if he’s willing to extend w Mtl

I'm sure you've watched him plenty lmao. And successful teams care about advanced stats, hence why they're correlated with success. Also why they have entire departments dedicated to advanced stats, and why they're sought after even when scouting draft-eligible prospects.

Go watch Moneyball, Dobson was not great defensivly the last few years. It’s pretty much the reason why he seems available in trade talks. Roy called him out a couple times in presser and pretty much all NYislanders fans seems to agree on that, but I Guess you are right lmfao

Anyway Hughes wont deal for an offensive minded Dman, bet the house on it.

Tell me more about his ugly girlfriend meaning he has no confidence lmao.

He put up better defensive results than any Islanders defenseman not named Adam Pelech (who is bordering on Slavin-level defensively).

So tell me, what defensemen do you consider to be good defensively?

What contract? I thought he was a free agent. He is only 29. On a fair contract he would be my first choice, seasoned vet that has won. He would be an awesome mentor.
