Yeah somehow he was one of the teams best D-man last year but is now garbage?…If the team can't develop him properly then they need to trade him to a team that will. This is ridiculous.

Played 1st game since the break, it didn’t go well, and now getting healthy scratched. Apparently no room for a top young prospect to have a bad game and learn from it?What part of the Devils is toxic?
Does Luke Hughes get benched after his bad games? The "toxicity" has seemingly not affected Luke Hughes or Seamus Casey. Weird.
Would probably have more leeway if they didn't have someone like Casey breathing down his neck. That's mostly just a bit of bad luck for Nemec in that regard. The devils don't have to suffer through his downs and the team is trying to win.Played 1st game since the break, it didn’t go well, and now getting healthy scratched. You'll notice, the Devils are actually trying to win hockey games. They aren't the Flyers or Montreal. They're going to play the players that give them the best opportunity to do that. Nemec has played 12 games at the NHL level this season and frankly has been pretty bad in most of them. Nemec got sent down, complained about it, and proceeded to shit the bed badly when he got called back up. Casey was always going to get his shot after that, and in this one game has shown more than Nemec has all year. It's that simple. Will that always be the pecking order? Who knows, Nemec has the draft pedigree, but at this point that's all in the rear view mirror.Played 1st game since the break, it didn’t go well, and now getting healthy scratched. We don't really need RD. Ideally a 3C who can slot in as a 2C or a scoring winger....Reinbacher's struggles were with an injury...the Habs will at least wait and see if he's back to NHL shape...
