So his stat line looks pretty good, but how is his development going? What his his projection? How close to NHL ready?

Needs maybe one more season in the AHL. After that he’ll be an NHL regular for sure.

Realistic is probably like #4 or #5 D. His skating really limits his upside and unless he can make some huge improvements there I can’t see him becoming a top pairing guy.

Foote should play more games in the nhl than ahl this year and will likely be Hedmans partner relatively soon. Will be more a elite #3 than true top pairing guy though

Is he likely to be in the NHL next season? I know Tampa has a great defense, but for a first round pick, he's had two good AHL seasons, and it'd seem like he's ready to play in the NHL. Wouldn't it make sense to add an ELC onto a roster that has very little cap space?

Both Foote and Bean are nhl ready just need to be given the opportunity they've earned. Only a matter of time

I really worry about his skating. Even in this game, he's had some really bad moments. But my God the kid can shoot the puck.
