I mean I like that the argument is there, but no chance in hell do you make that feed at Wrestlemania. There is no argument for that.
Not now it isn't, but if the plan had gone well, and Strowman had some heat behind him (and felt more like a monster), then it would be a fine match to make.

Could also have been feed to 'Taker, which probably makes more sense than Lesnar as you can have Lesnar in the title picture if you want.

I think you are right in like the 80s/90s style booking. People are way too smart nowadays. It would have backfired big time. At a PPV like Hell in a Cell, absolutely. Not Wrestlemania. That's the one gift to wrestling fans each year.

They might still feed Strowman to Taker. With Cena gone that match is gone and that was a rumored possibility months ago.

How would 'Taker even finish a match with Strowman with anything other than the gogoplata? He sure as hell can't tombstone the guy.

Yeah, I think a 'Taker match makes more sense than anyone else. The only other guy who I'd have done it with would have been Reigns. Storwman walking about destroying people, and Reigns comes in and saves the day.

I know the Reigns push is hated, but if you're going with it he makes perfect sense to beat Strowman.

The way the Taker/Wyatt "feud" was built up, leading to WM - and by that I mean Taker doing absolutely nothing, while Wyatt carried every "promo" - I've decided I really wouldn't care much to see a Taker/Strowman feud, and cringe at the thought of the two of them even attempting a promo in the same ring.

I just don't really know who else he can wrestle and it even matters.

I guess they could feed Jerhico to him? He is pretty much trapped in the 90s still anyway.

If Taker is going to retire, I still think his final match should be against Kane. It won't be a great technical display, but ever since the two HBK matches the streak has been almost pure storytelling. It doesn't need to be a great technical display.

Give them a night time match, let them have some extravagant entrances, and give them 20-25 minutes to just tell a story. Casket Match, Inferno Match, Loser Goes to Hell Match, whatever.

Need to have Kane go heel first. They could of set this up at SS by having the Wyatts turning Kane.

Taker and the Wyatts both keep their heat and you have more fodder for feuding. Plus the Wyatts look stronger.

**** it. This company doesn't know what it's doing.

I'm hoping we never see Taker vs. Kane again. Even their 2010 feud was years after when their last feud should have been. I don't know if there's ever been a good match between the two. Can't think of one.

Or, and here's a crazy idea. Lets NOT have the biggest wrestling disaster in the history of the company since taker vs great khali.

I rather put him out there against kane. At least kane knows what the **** he's doing out there.

Yes. Which is why plans for that match have been put aside.

(Or had been put aside, but with a ton of injuries they may be back as an option if nothing else will work with the rest of the show.) I don't think i've said it in a while, but I really hate Undertaker. He's nothing but a problem for my fun fantasy booking plans these days.

I'm inclined to agree. I like Strowman....I think he's been great in his role but he's been wrestling less than a year and I don't think he's been in a match over like..4 minutes.

It would not go well.

Aries is 37. What with the NXT Indy stars and the influx of NJPW wrestlers, it'll be difficult for him to find a spot.

People make too much of age with wrestlers. AJ is 38, Nakamura is 35, Brock is 38, Orton is 35. Punk is 37 and I'm sure almost everyone would love him back.

Mid to late 30s isn't really that old in wrestling. Even if it was that old, if you can get a few years of good entertainment for your TV show out of a guy then that's good enough. Of course you want to have some long term focus as well.

Yeah, late 30s isn't "old" for wrestling. You can easily go well into your 40s if you want to (assuming no injury or health issues), just need to adapt when you slow down. It's especially the case when many wrestlers only really hit their stride in their early 30s after they've had a decade of experience.

So while I wouldn't start pushing a 38 year old guy into being the face of a company, you can defiantly use them in the main event spot for a couple of years without issue.

Except when Kane tries selling a DDT or some head impact move where he lands on one knee.

Was this from yesterday or today? They did say that Wyatt standing tall at the end of Raw hints in that direction but they didn't say it would happen. They also mentioned that at one point Strowman was looked to work with Brock but that went down the gutter real quick.

I would assume that it was from yesterday, but I can't say yes or no, I just found it on Cageside Seats

If the rumor that putting the title up for grabs in the rumble was only decided when Cena got hurt is true...I wouldn't be surprised if the winner isn't locked in stone yet, and Vince potentially audibles it on Sunday.
