WWE: Raw and Smackdown Part 5 the Paul Levesque Era

If I've understood correctly if TKO wants to "cut costs" and if HHH doesn't have any long term creative plans for the talent, then they're gone.

Edit: from the comments of the linked Reddit post:

I can see TKO acting as shrewdly as that, based on the outside of the ring stuff in the last year or so. The older and less used you are, the higher the chance of getting released or contract not getting renewed. :(

doesn't shock me look how stingy they are paying ufc fighters if wwe ever lost aew as competition the salarys would be reduced when redoing contracts no doubt with tko in charge

Well, are they supposed to leave him on the bench if they decide not to use him, or does he want to wrestle? I’d say both sides got their money’s worth.

I can see it more being an age thing. A lot of the releases after WM were people with age and significant injury history.

Meltzer says HHH made the call to cut loose R-Truth and Carlito

Yet according to Meltzer, the directive was clear: WWE needed to trim down, and Triple H made the final call.

That goes in line with what I wrote earlier. If HHH doesn't see long term creative plans for a talent, whose contract is ending, then their contract will not be renewed. I think even Meltzer has mentioned it like that. So this seems a little click baity headline.

It would be the most WWE thing ever to take the momentum they've had in the last couple years, and piss it all away by bowing to their corporate overlords with TKO.

Omni dropping by and making an appearance! What's up gang! Long time no see.

Hoping the fans are loud and express their frustration with the R-Truth situation.
