WWE: Raw and Smackdown Part 5 the Paul Levesque Era

Multiple posts on reddit...
I didn't see anything on Squaredcircle, only the interview he did.

Apparently quoting PWInsider, they however have not said anything like that. Seems to be based on bullshit accounts on shitter. which is why Reddit are deleting the OPs and links.

Owens own comment:

Owens: No, I don't know. I haven't talked to the surgeon or anything like that yet. I'm going to do all that on Monday. I know that most of the people that have gone through similar things have probably, six months to eight months to a year. So, I would assume it within those range in that range, but I don't really know. Like I said it's all really new right now.

He himself won't know until Monday.

The belief among those we've spoken with this morning is that Stratton fired away on Flair in retaliation for how Flair "ate her up" on a previous face to face segment.

Some we spoke with felt Stratton stood up for herself in a way that put the spotlight back on her (and in front of a Chicago crowd was sincerely pro-Stratton) while others felt that the segment going awry towards the end didn't help anyone.

Several we spoke to also noted that Flair was obviously thrown by the crowd, which allowed Stratton's shots to hit even harder.

Flair's final comment about Kaiser came after Stratton had already rolled out of the ring and began exiting the arena. One source referred to it as coming off like "a flailing shot from a boxer who didn't realize they were KO'd" and that Flair was obviously "gotten to."

i assume he's gonna be gone for a long time because it's serious enough for him to pass on WM and not have the surgery after. he was gonna wrestle Randy... not exactly the type of match that makes you feel like shit in the morning

Sounds like the Royal Rumble match did him in

That was a brutal match where it ended with him taking a bump all mangled up in a ladder afterward.

The Rumble was in February, but with it being traditionally January, that'd be an easy mistake. I have to say I appreciate that he wouldn't say which match because I think he knows the toxic part of the IWC will be assholes to whomever it was.

Looking at is match card, and he only wrestled 4 matches this year, Sami, Rhodes and then Jimmy and Rey... and then in December he did 4 house shows between Xmas and New Years that were cage matches vs Cody

Watching his 2 SD matches in January, I did notice there was a really awkward looking hurricanrana early in the match with Rey Mysterio which felt like he oversold it... but neck injuries can happen with the most innocuous moves, like his senton could cause a whiplash effect. Or any DDT could cause it

Yeah it doesn't take much. Really anything could do it. He could've run the ropes awkwardly and tweaked something and then just hitting the mat on a toe drag finished it off.

I like your theory about him protecting whoever the opponent was on the night he was injured. He seems like the type of guy that wouldn't put any blame whatsoever on the other guy anyway. It's an inherently dangerous business and shit happens. It doesn't always have to be someone else's fault.

Exactly. We all saw what happened with Ridge Holland and the hate he got, when it was just a shitty accident... so I imagine that was in KO's mind. He seems like a really good person from everything I've seen.
