WWE: Raw and Smackdown Part 5 the Paul Levesque Era

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Why blame AEW? It’s WWE who signed her and put her in the spot she’s in? WWE could easily take the time to do the same thing.
Both companies didn't do her any favors. The worst thing AEW did was turn her into a female Goldberg. The woman never learned basics or how to work a match.Hhh should have kept her on the shelf longer, but I guess they got impatient seeing all the potential dollar signs.Shes just not ready, especially for a singles run.

She wasn’t really on the shelf though, she spent most of it training and she’s still god awful. Shes got a presence, sure, but my god she’s got the ring psychology of a turnip. She makes Dana Brooke look like Bret Hart.

But. “Da look!”

She’s likely going to be facing Naomi at Wrestlemania and that has potential to be one of the worst matches of all time.

She had wanted to go to WWE before signing with AEW and they turned her away after the tryout. She also went to like 4 wrestling schools to train.

WWE is proving that you don’t need an extensive training in other promotions to at least be decent, you’re either going to be good or not eventually, especially if you’re athletic. They signed her figuring that working in AEW made her better because everyone is at least very good there, or at least they were all the time. They wanted to do the same thing AEW did even, because this is what they were doing, which was inserting them into the spotlight and letting AEW make stars for them (while AEW doesn’t do much with who they’ve let go, but will look better if they return). Eventually you’re just either good at it or not, and there’s nowhere to hide anymore if you’re not at least passable for where you’re slotted.

Accurate statement. Too many hours of wrestling. Watch some promos, skip to the second half of matches, and with the change to Netflix if the show hasn't been indexed then when you fast forward you can't see what you are fast forwarding though (unlike when it was recorded on a pvr). At least Netflix on my TV won't show any glimpses during fast forward unless I watch a couple days after the wrestling originally aried.

Sorry, heaven forbid I assume a singles match involving two guys, I believe where the winner gets a title shot, was about those two guys. I absolutely do not care enough to sit with rapt attention for two and a half hours twice per week to understand the nuances of a singles match that apparently wasn't even about the two guys having the match, lol.

Your statement could be 100% accurate but that's a HHH problem and I guess a me problem but not every viewer is giving them 100% of their eyeballs for five plus hours per week and even longer if you include NXT.

Apparently Bo Dallas has been medically cleared to return (which is why the Wyatt's have been off TV) and when they return it should involve Alexa.

I think at this point WWE has trained enough people to say that if Jade still sucks it's probably on Jade, not on WWE.

Which means it's also not AEW's fault. Although where they could be at fault is only having her work a match once a week. (This is where I think Endeavor's idea to cut house shows is a bad idea)

She also rarely worked full matches. It was typically a squash. When her career is all said and done I think the only thing aew will have given her is name recognition enough to get her into the E, where she got the real name recognition

AEW will have given her nothing in terms of wrestling. Luckily for her so far, the business (particularly in the E) is built around pomp and circumstance, not the wrestling.

As for what WWE will do for her, same as AEW i think, just at greater exposure. She’s a name and a look. The wrestling hasn’t improved a bit since her first couple AEW matches

The Jey/Gunther build has been weird. It just feels like they're wrestling for the US title. Jey is hanging around Tozawa and wrestling the likes of Waller/Theory.
