It's always fun to see that brief moment where Punk's arrogance exceeds his ability and he tells some bullshit so outlandish that you can hear the crowd audibly groan.

He's entertaining enough that he gets them back, but man it's fun for that brief second where the audience is like "Uhh yeah no."

I haven't had Netflix in 5 years lol.

End of the day it will probably be great for fans willing to, or already paying for Netflix. Gives the company more freedom with stuff like overruns and no ad breaks during matches.
I never had Netflix, but the add tier is only like 5-6 bucks in Canada, cheaper than SN+

Yeah I think it's like $7 in the US. It wasn't really necessary for me anymore once other streaming services caught up.

They were good when they were kinda the "Only game in town" for movie/TV streaming. But once all those content providers got their own streaming services and started yanking their content from Netflix, they had to shift to original content. And their original content was pretty shit at the time.

I honestly don't really watch TV anymore. If it weren't for the NHL I wouldn't have a cable streaming subscription at all.

Yeah, this is where I'm at as well. I'll occasionally pick up a series (just started Suits, likely to take a year to finish), but if it wasn't for sports, I'd likely ditch TV all together.

I'm kinda considering it anyways. My DirecTV went up to $87/mo for the cheapest package and I barely catch the TNT games.

Kinda wanna just pick up SlingTV or YouTube TV during the playoff months to get everything and then ditch it the rest of the year.

Buzz TV, boys. Then pay a dude $20 a month for 3500 channels
For me, it's really not the cost. I actually use my sister's YouTube TV login for free. I have two boys, 14 and 11, fully involved in sports and church among other stuff. Excluding any sports, we may watch an hour or two a week of TV.

*Not including the hours of YouTube shorts crap they're glued to on their phones or iPads

I heard even YoutubeTV is going through the roof.

Would be nice if people would just mass cancel this shit. Streaming was a nice alternative to cable when it got astronomical. Now it's just become the monster it killed.

So apparently how Netflix RAW worked for the countries that got it yesterday. Ad free tier had no ads. If a match was going you just kept watching.

Between matches they did some extra interview segments. Vic Joseph interviewed the New Day. Post match with Dakota.

I have both. SN+ may just be the worst streaming app in history. Unresponsive menus, difficulty searching, crashes often.

For Canadian streaming WWE viewers I can't see how this isn't a major upgrade going from SN+ to Netflix.

100%, When my SN+ sub ended in Oct, I said f*** it and started using IPTV for hockey and wrestling (and baseball when spring rolls around) and downloading wrestling when I can't watch live... and while IPTV has its hiccups, it's still no worse than SN+, and I only paid $15 for a full year of IPTV

Can someone explain to me the dynamic of a Cena/Cody WrestleMania match, where the selling point is Cena breaking Flair's record?

Other than catching an intriguing match here or there, I don't really watch WWE week-to-week, but I do somewhat follow the news. So it's possible I could be completely off about what would or wouldn't work.

Is there any chance Owens beats Cody and is the one to face Cena? It seems to me like that would be the better dynamic, because if the match is going to be sold around Cena breaking the record, he should be facing a heel. A ladder match seems like the ideal stipulation for Owens to beat Cody, because he can win the title without pinning Cody.

It even opens things up to give Cody or another face the spotlight by having them be the one to stop Owens from cheating and help Cena win.
