If you book your whole roster well then 3 hours can definitely work. Especially a big roster.

As someone who's had to be up for work at 5am every Tuesday morning for like 15 years now, I've despised the 3 hour format. I've barely watched more than 5 full episodes of Raw live over that timeframe. 8-10 works way better for me personally. I'm sure many others in the same boat.
