Not worried one bit. Look how bad we were last year and were we finished. Only thing that worries me is Campbell being worse then i though he could b
I agree but the question is why aren’t they?I feel that once they relearn to play some form of team defence, secondary scoring will pick up and goaltending will improve. The defence will never be stellar but it should be good enough that they start drawing penalties again and outscoring there opponent.
Not sure, less veterans? Coaching? Bad luck? It's actually amazing how often they give up the first goal. And amazing how well they play when they get it.I agree but the question is why aren’t they?
Probably can't be at this pointGoaltending, defense, depth scoring. These issues have plagued the Oilers for years and still aren’t fixed.

I’d argue the biggest disappointment so far is actually Woodcroft. The team as a whole has been a mess. Everyone’s cheating for offense leaving our D with no options. Our forwards are losing their checks on the regular, our D are floating and not taking their man. The whole team is a hot mess with and without the puck. Complete 180 from what we saw last year. There's a few concerns I have, although still early in the season, we lost Kane, 3 of our 3 million $$ players are not doing anything special, esp., Foegele, shows up for one descent game for every 20 and he is the Messiah all of a sudden for most fans, just like Nuge used to be, but the biggest disappointment / concern for me so far is Campbell. I'm not sold on this dude. wasn't Ullmark also available? My first choice, the Bruins got it right!

Just saw a Kane interview post practice. Reporter asks about the injury. Says he cut everything down to the bone. So it may be worst case scenario. He mentioned the artery having to be reattached from a piece removed from another part of his arm. A good reporter may have asked for a few more specifics but I'm sure it will come out in the next little while.
It would be very nice to add at the TD, but we are up right against the cap now, and if you move only prospects and picks the other way, where do you suppose the cap room will come from? I can't imagine teams lining up to take our 3 million dollar busts. Not that worried. It's been bumpy but we have also had a difficult schedule and I think the goaltending will right itself to better degree, still more confident in it then when we had Smith. We are still going to be a playoff team, I'm just hoping we add at the TDL and actually move a first or prospect this year.
I see there's a few moronic Leaf fans liking posts in here, lmao! They should be more worried about Matthews being a barely PPG player than our team.
The playoffs isn’t the regular season it’s not comparable. In the playoffs the numbers go out the window you either win or you don’t the how doesn’t matter. In the season under woody we were playing way, wayyyyy more sound hockey last year.Eh that happened plenty last year too. They are actually about the same GA this year as in the playoffs last season.
