The first one was the first one, and it's inviolable. But the emotional overload of these playoffs only comes along once in a lifetime. Please don't make me pick.

If you'd told me that the Kings would have won another Stanley Cup, like this...I wouldn't have believed you. It's one of the craziest things I've seen in sports, much less hockey.

This one was a greater triumph, but I wouldn't give up either of them for anything.

Well this one will have a extra special feeling for me. I got to watch it with my father well most of the playoffs. He actually started to look forward to watching with me. He also stopped me from turning it to his shows saying i want to listen to Darryl Sutter

I doubt that. There's plenty of "Hank didn't deserve this" talk out there.

I know but now we can just point to their individual #'s for this series and tell them it's alright. If that doesn't work we can always point at the cup.

Either way they can still whine all they want but they will know deep down where it hurts that the better goalie won.

I mean I think they will.

They both felt amazing, but holy **** this one was one hell of a rollercoaster.

And hey, at this point, who cares!

Hearing Bob call it and seeing Jim cry after they won the first one. That was special.

The way they won this time around is much much better but winning the first one will always be the most special one imo.

You think we'll get a good DVD set this time?

Both runs were amazing but I gotta give this year the edge. It was just such a crazy run. I just don't see a team winning in the finals like this ever again. Absolutely glorious!!

Tom Brady was asked what championship was your favorite. His answer "the next one"

That says it all

Both were special.

The combination of the two is insane, and the WCF in the middle is nice too.

Look at all the records we have broken in the last three years in a cap era. This is madness. I can't even put into words what these guys have accomplished.

2012 was a 10

2014...10.1?

Both are fantastic and satisfying in their own ways... 2014 though was much more difficult and so many ups and downs. Man, talk about anxiety inducing.

2012 was great and will always be special because it was the first.
2014 is one that will probably go down as one of the most epic runs in history. That we probably will not ever see again in our lifetimes.

This Cup entailed a lot more suffereing--By the players, and the fans.

The stress I felt during the last 1/2 of the game was almost suffocating.

Martinez's goal was like a blast of sweet air, and I could breath normally again.

2012 < 2014

1) Beat San Jose in Game 7 on their ice after trailing the series 0-3
2) Beat Anaheim in Game 7 on their ice after they owned us during the regular season (and beat us in the Stadium Series)
3) Beat Chicago (the defending champs) in Game 7 on their home ice in sudden OT after falling behind 2-0
4) Beat New York, an Original Six team in the largest market and the darlings of the national media, in "walk-off" fashion on our ice and further proving that Quick > Lundqvist

All of that happened in one postseason! It really can't get much sweeter than that.
