The first one was the first one, and it's inviolable. But the emotional overload of these playoffs only comes along once in a lifetime. Please don't make me pick.
This one will silence the Hank is jebus and Quick isn't talk.
Not only scoreboard but statistically speaking too.
I doubt that. There's plenty of "Hank didn't deserve this" talk out there.
I know but now we can just point to their individual #'s for this series and tell them it's alright. If that doesn't work we can always point at the cup.
Either way they can still whine all they want but they will know deep down where it hurts that the better goalie won.
I mean I think they will.

Hearing Bob call it and seeing Jim cry after they won the first one. That was special.
The way they won this time around is much much better but winning the first one will always be the most special one imo.
2012 < 2014
1) Beat San Jose in Game 7 on their ice after trailing the series 0-3
2) Beat Anaheim in Game 7 on their ice after they owned us during the regular season (and beat us in the Stadium Series)
3) Beat Chicago (the defending champs) in Game 7 on their home ice in sudden OT after falling behind 2-0
4) Beat New York, an Original Six team in the largest market and the darlings of the national media, in "walk-off" fashion on our ice and further proving that Quick > Lundqvist
All of that happened in one postseason! It really can't get much sweeter than that.
