A bunch of the teams that could use him the most, are probably on his no trade list. But a Top-3 RHD with all around minute logging ability on an absolute bargain of a contract for another year should certainly still command a very solid price. Question is really just...how many of the teams that aren't on his no trade list, are going to be in on him not just as a 1-year rental, but have the willingness, cap structure, and team structure to commit to what will be a pretty substantial extension? Because unless you're getting that long-term player, it'll probably impact what sort of pieces teams are willing to put on the table for him.
Detroit mentioned above is certainly an interesting one. He certainly would look darn good with Edvinsson on a "second pairing". They've got the assets to deal for him, the cap flexibility to sign him to an extension, and there's at least a decent chance they're not on his list i'd think. Or at worst, there's the possibility of selling him on the Original 6 mystique, or just getting to go play with a bunch of other Swedes on a team that's long been known as a bit of a Swedish flavoured organization. The only real question there is...Seider isn't going anywhere, if they're dealing substantial pieces and a big contract for Andersson, where exactly is ASP going to fit in when he arrives in a bit?
Dallas also seems like a fit to me. They could really use his cheap cap hit for a year, and a solid natural RHD would certainly seem welcome there...whoever of their LH shooters they paired him with. Would imagine that's an appealing landing spot.
Buffalo could desperately use a player like that, but it's practically a guarantee they're on his no trade list, and he wouldn't be signing an extension there anyway, unless things turn around drastically next year.
Plenty of other teams that i could see being interested though, and reconfiguring things with their blueline accordingly.
