They should put Hall with Rantanen. What a ridiculous game from him and Blake last night. They were completely unstoppable and I feel like Hall has elevated every line he has been on. Sad that it doesn't show up on the score sheet though. Also, from the start, I believed that Rantanen would take a while to get accustomed to this Canes system and it seems that way except his underlying stats have been amazing. Most Canes TDL acquisition take a while like Trocheck and Skjei (Both looked horrendous at first even underlying stats) and if we go way back, Reechi (7 points in 20 regular season games before playing better in the playoffs). We have seen with the players that play a fore-checking game fit in quicker like Guentzel and Niederreiter.

How’s hall look
I wouldn't say amazing like the above poster but he's been a solid middle 6 guy. If his finishing was better he'd have quite a few more points but he's still pretty damn fast and creates chances. The team as a whole has been disjointed since the trade (and even before it a bit) and no lines have really been able to develop chemistry yet so a lot of guys switching around which doesn't help newcomers like Hall and Rantanen. It's still pretty early so I'm not all that concerned with the lack of production yet. The real test will come in the playoffs.

Both play tonight.. another double bagel?lol
Rantanen put up a bagel, but Necas managed an assist on a Drouin goal 2 seconds before the end of the 1st period. Drury also was involved in a shorthanded 2 on 1 that ended in a goal, but didn't get a point because Kiviranta took the shot and buried it rather than pass.
