This is just for fun but my big red hot hot-take is...

Avs rented Rantanen to Carolina for them to give the Avs a top line winger and 3C. While Carolina and Rantanen make a big push in the playoffs, no matter the outcome they win the cup or they don't but Rantanen decides to not put away the memories from the past 10 years and decides to resign with the Avs and rejoin his friends back again... I want to create talk how realistic would this situation be and in hockey wet dream perspective, this is one of the most dopamine inducing thoughts for me

Most guys have friends on different teams in the league.
