The only good prospect the Kings have is Clarke, without him I think the Kings are probably at or near the bottom of the league in prospects.

When did we trade our prospect pool? We traded Faber and Grans… and some picks. But we really haven’t traded very many prospects…

It's not so much the trades, a lot of the prospects are still with the organization... But the good ones have already graduated and the rest haven't lived up to their promise or potential. At least it looks that way to me.

Our prospect pool consists of Turcotte's medicine cabinet, Akil Thomas's clothing brand, Jeff Schultz 2.0, anddd some kid who just graduated High School as our goalie.

The problem is we haven't added anything good the last two years/drafts. We're adding JAGs or bottom line / roll players at best. Two drafts and nothing to show for it high-end prospect wise. It's a big problem that will manifest in a couple years down the road. That can't be sustained.

It always depends on how people define prospects, but I think at this point it's fair to say Byfield and Kaliyev have graduated. No first round pick in 2 years, 12 picks total in that time. No trades for anyone under 22 in that span.

I've not sit down in a while to make my own list, but I think these are our top 10 prospects off the top of my head:
- Clarke
- Spence
- Laferriere
- Portillo
- Ziemmer
- Dvorak
- Fagemo
- Pinelli
- Chromiak
- Turcotte

While he’s a few years away from coming over Kirill Kirsanov is a damn good defensive project who some scouts have said has Dmitry Orlov attributes… Heck, I’ll settle for a LH Slava Voynov without the drama

i seriously forgot about the Russian KK. That would be a good jolt to the team if he came over in two years as a replacement for Gavi when his deal ends.

1) Ducks (been building a pool for a few years)
2) Sharks (little behind Ana in building)
DROP
3) Kraken (too new to have build a good pool)
4) Kings (pool hasn't developed as hoped)
5) Canucks (same as LA and was behind LA to begin with)
HUGH DROP
6) Flames (your allowed to have prospects? why didn't anyone tell us)
7) Oilers(prospects? we don't need no stinking prospects)
8) Knights (in Vegas we call prospects Casino Chips and spend them like sailors on shore leave) (sure our AHL went to the Finals , but the team's avg age was 46)

Hey everyone, I wanted to do a prospect pool ranking for the Pacific Division and want the output of all fanbases. Will keep this on for 24 hours (So it'll end at 7:45PM PST on June 30th).

How do you define prospects? Are they currently playing in the NHL or in the minors or junior level . Are the ranked by draft position , like 4 top 5 picks and playing well in other leagues .
