50 goal and 96 point pace.
Ovechkin could've scored 60 that year in a full season. He had 25 G the last 24 GP and then the following season he had 23G the first 25 GP. Just an amazing goal scoring streak.
50 goal and 96 point pace.
Should've gone to Crosby. Misses the last month, and still had the same amount of Points as Ovi.
Crosby if he won the Hart that year, that would've been the most dominant win of the decade.
His 1.56 PPG was .30 above the next closest.
and from 1981-2001 there were ONLY 3 different scoring leaders!Woah 9 different winners, would not have guessed that without checking
This guy gets it. Habs have been awful for almost a decade. Prices heroics has hid the "stank" for years. That particular season was one of the all time great goalie seasons in history.I think people are underestimating Price's value to Montreal. Without Price they're a lottery team as they proved last season. When he's on he pushes the Habs into the playoffs with arguably the worst roster to make the playoffs in years. I'm a Pens fan but I would say Price's accomplishment is far more impressive than Sid's or Geno's MVP's.
Based upon their seasons and not the overall player:
2012 Malkin
2015 Price
2016 Kane
2010 Sedin
2013 Ovechkin
2017 Mcdavid
2018 Hall
2014 Crosby
2011 Perry
