1b Vegas Golden Knights (hometown team. Yeah being in the same division is awkward but I've been waiting for expansion for about 10 years.)

Teams I'd be happy to see win it all/excite me/I feel some affinity to

2 Winnipeg Jets (I was hyped for the relocation because growing up a Selanne fan I always kind of wished the Jets could come back to the league. I liked the name and the jerseys. Now they've got an exciting talented hockey team. Wouldn't mind seeing them win it at all. Just not over Vegas or Anaheim)
3 Tampa Bay Lightning (always an exciting team, what Yzerman has done there is to be admired)
4 Philadelphia Flyers (I guess I've always felt like they were Anaheim East so I feel some connection to them)
5 St. Louis Blues (Like a fair amount of their players and as a fan of a team that keeps not quite being enough, I feel for their fanbase and would welcome them winning a cup soon)
6 Washington Capitals (Tough to not root for Ovi to get a cup at some point before he retires)
7 New Jersey Devils (Lots of former Ducks on this current NJD team. Sure they sank Anaheim's hopes in 2003 but the wounds have healed)

This thread has been surprising. With the assumption that everyone hates the Leafs (largely due to fans on here), there aren't a ton of people listing the Leafs near the bottom.

Plus there are fans of teams that seem to bicker so much right now. For instance, there are a lot of fans who have Toronto and Winnipeg both as teams they are fans of. I guess when you only see the negative (relatively few) fans spouting off, you assume it is a larger group.

I really hoped that the Maple Leafs would've held that 4-3 lead over the Bruins in the third. Too bad.
