Olympics: Rank Team Canada's Sochi 2014 opponents

If it were me,
I would rank Austria as the easiest then....

1. Latvia

I actually believe Latvia gave Canada the biggest fight/scare in this tournament. The rest were competitive or pushovers. Even the US-Canada match, we controlled the game play and the Yank's chances were not great. Most of their shots on Price werent scary deadly, mostly to the chest.

Any thoughts?

Latvia was not the toughest. We had 60 shots & probably 30 scoring chances.

As much as I liked the Latvia game, they are getting overrated. Canada dominated that team and got 55 shots on them, their goalie was hot but the team as a whole was not at all tough and rather easy. Canada was in control of the puck all game.

Canada had nowhere near that many scoring chances, and as far as "grade A" scoring opportunities go, it was pretty even between the two teams. Gudlevskis didn't have to make many difficult saves like he did against Sweden, just a lot of them.
