Rank the individual performances based on what made you smile the most.
- Hemsky's 14G, 32pts in 27GP with Prabudice
- RNH WJHC tournament leading 11pts in 4GP
- Hall shaking of the rust and rising up into top 10 in AHL scoring
- Dubnyk outshining Schneider and Bernier and looking solid at Spengler
- Smyth producing despite playing on big ice and a big layoff
- Gagner at Spengler
- Schultz dominating AHL
- Eberle dominating AHL
- RNHs play in AHL
- Yakupov 10G 18pts in 22 KHL games
1 - Schultz killing it in the AHL... making other fanbases drool and admit that yes he really IS that good of a prospect.
2 Dubnyk... great to see maybe just maybe he can become a solid NHL starter... would be one hell of a huge hole filled if he can play well for 50-60 games a year. Easily as important as one of the "big 5" on the Oilers if he becomes a solid NHL starter.
3 Yak doing well in KHL is promising... and although everyone seems underwhelmed by his play in the WJC and Challenge series... it's what he does on the Oilers that counts. I have no doubt he'll be dynamite on the 2nd line.
4 Hemsky... happy to see he's healthy and ready to show people he is better than the 6th best Oiler.
5 Eberle/Hall/RNH doing well in the AHL... expected.
6 RNH doing well at the WJC.. fully expected.
7 Gagner... hope he can continue that on the #2C spot between Yak and Hemsky.
8 Smyth... old dog still barking.
