I'm stunned you have Running On Empty so low. I thought the consensus was that it was his best.

I love Running On Empty but just like the seven above it more. My list is not a typical the J.B.-fan ranking I would say. Most people have the first three albums and Running On Empty as their top four. Hold Out isn't a lot of people's favorite. I will say the albums are bunched and #1-8 are all rated "A" by myself. Not a lot of difference.

Foreigner (with Lou Gramm-only):

1) 4
2) Double Vision
3) Agent Provocateur
4) Head Games
5) Inside Information
6) Foreigner
7) Mr. Moonlight

One of my favourite metal bands, Gojira.

1. From Mars to Sirius
2. Le'faunt Savage
3. The way of all flesh
4. Terra Incognita
5. The Link
6. Magma

Haven't listened to their latest yet.

Going to do a weirder one, and my opinion is likely a bit controversial:

Black Sabbath (the ENTIRE discography)

1. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
2. Black Sabbath
3. Vol. 4
4. Dehumanizer
5. Technical Ecstasy
6. Paranoid
7. Master of Reality
8. Mob Rules
9. Headless Cross
10. Heaven and Hell
11. Cross Purposes
12. Sabotage
13. Never Say Die!
14. Born Again
15. Tyr
16. The Eternal Idol
17. 13
18. Forbidden
19. Seventh Star

I like them all except the last two.

1. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
2. Dehumanizer
3. Master of Reality
4. Headless Cross
5. Vol. 4
6. Paranoid
7. Heaven and Hell
8. The Eternal Idol
9. Mob Rules
10. Black Sabbath
11. Sabotage
12. Tyr
13. Cross Purposes
14. Forbidden
15. Technical Ecstasy
16. Never Say Die!
17. Born Again

I've never bothered with 13 or Seventh Star, so.

It's just a massive discography, so an album like Sabotage, which would be a highlight for many bands, is just kind of middling compared to many others.

I'm a much bigger fan of the Tony Martin albums than I think most people are. These days, they're mostly what I listen to (because I've heard so many of the others so many times).

Born Again just plain doesn't work. Gillan was the wrong voice.

I was just listening to the Shining and Ancient Warrior earlier today. Great stuff!
