Igor getting rest, and the Rangers have somehow gotten all 8 points in the last 4 Geo starts.

Hard to watch Geo, but there are so many bad teams left on the schedule they can probably survive it, and get the two seed.
that is best case scenario. Then ride Shesty 10000 percent in the playoffs but unfortunately gotta play AG some more games if possible

Georgiev ,

I'm a little concerned that Gallant doesn't seem to think Copp and Panarin mesh well together at even strength. Maybe he was just trying to spark the team and I'm reading too much into it, but he went away from that combo tonight breaking up the first line which has been flying lately to do it.

Re-sign Copp and take Strome away from Gallant/Panarin, please.

Yeah, this is a good point. And the reality is we can't just start Shesterkin every game for the rest of the season. No one wants to see Georgiev out there but he has to get in a couple more games before the playoffs. Just how it is.

Probably another 4-5 starts, you can schedule it where he plays no playoff team, this Rangers offense could score 4-5 in those games. Even him going like 2-2-1 is fine.

We all know they are absolutely cooked if Igor ever got hurt, but the more rest he gets now the better.

Feel like since the deadline he’s not taking 45 shots a game anymore.

Can we give Kinky a game at least?

What if he knows how to play goalie

As much as he wasn't a better option for a good while despite Georgiev's, at this point - I say yes to breathe a bit more life into the squad when someone not named Igor is playing in goal. Right now, the first goal on Georgiev in any circumstance is like a serious gut-punch to the guys on the bench.

god that was rough from georgiev
pretty sure every one of those was stoppable with the first two being outright terrible

Rangers looked tired and let down from the emotion of playing the Pens last night but still overall outplayed detroit it looks like

They won that game purely in spite of Georgiev, and I’m still laughing at how bad some of his goals against were tonight.

Copp has fit like a glove, and I cannot wait for this summer when hopefully all of Georgiev, McKegg, and Strome are gone.
The thing is, it wasn't even St. Louis level bad. That he looked this bad tonight and there's still a bottom...

I don't know how many times I've said it since we signed Kinkaid, but Kinkaid > Georgie, any day of the week. We'd have won that game 3-1 at minimum with Shesty or Kinkaid in net.

I'm the lone vote for Nemeth so far. He looked good today. That's two out of the last three he hasn't looked like a total pylon.

If they don't sign Copp to something decent in term, I'm gonna be pissed. I really like his game.
