We're horrible. Buffalo must be truly awful.
The rangers have good players but poor coaching (at least relative to the players they have) and lots of injuries. They can play hockey. Buffalo is just a mess. The main difference I’d say, though, is goaltending here.

The Sabres need actual depth and not AHLers and boarderline NHlers trying to take the next step while being clowned night in and night out. Jack Eichel has a busy summer ahead.

Lehner is a backup. With a starter they'd be a fair amount better.

That said, that roster is abysmal. 7 players with 3.0 Point shares or better. The Rangers have would have 11 if Nash were still here. Boston has 14. Tampa has 12, but 6 guys 7.0 or better.

Eichel has 5.6 to lead BUF.
ZBad leads us with 4.9.

For a roster comparison.

If Fast ever gets changed off of this line......or in general if this line is EVER broken up in the near future and going into next season.......I will have a caniption. They are so smooth and read off of each other so well. Anticipating every move with one another.

Many changes still a coming.......this is ONE THING that should remain a steady. I guarantee this Jesper offensive explosion is NOT just a hot streak. He works too hard, ALL THE TIME, and coupled with Kreids the manbeast coming back anew, and with Zbad's recovery from head injury.....well, sky is the limit.

This is our best line since Pouliot/Brass/Zuccha and they were technically our 3rd line!

I'm not sure what Sam means when he says a guy has been "active." Previously he's used that word for O'Gara, Sproul and now Pionk. Previously I took it to mean playing shite but skating around like a headless chicken...

Kreider/Ziba/Buch has lit it up in the past. I wouldn't be surprised if that line is a thing again.
