Strome is good. We need him now. Don't want him back. Rangers can do better at that position

I've never changed my stance on this.

Their 5v5 play is awful and the roster needs some changes to try to fix it.

They could win the Cup and I'll feel the same way.

I've been right and wrong about things during the Stanley cup playoffs so I'm clearly someone to listen to.

OTOH, If we end up winning the cup I'm changing my user name to Makar's Diarrhea and will commission someone to create an avatar of Elliotte Freidman holding a glass of it.

I think thats enough influence for the hockey gods to allow this to happen.

I have to agree with this. Last night in particular the turnovers were really bad. They were unforced. He had time and space and still readily gave the puck away. Sometimes in high danger areas.

If it was anyone else, he would have been benched immediately. But he continued to get shifts and make even more unforced turnovers.

Now he is tapping his stick on the ice after a turnover, as if to say my bad.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to go with 13 forwards and 5 D-men. This way we only use Panarin on the PP. I'm joking of course, but this is getting to a point where it is really concerning. And it looks like nothing will be done about it.

Panarin has been somewhat of a liability lately.

Someone mentioned that he was hurt in the offseason (summertime) And that somehow that is affecting his play. I don't buy it. Even if he was recovering half the summer. You don't go out and score 96 points in the regular season.

And if they are saying it somehow affected his stamina with the elongated postseason, I'm not buying it. He had all season to build up his strength to carry on.

No, either this is a recent injury, or he has lost his magic touch.

I think it's just the nature of the beast. When your back is against the wall, there is much more urgency.

Which is why Colorado has picked up even more bonus points. They could have easily taken the series back to Colorado after trailing by 2 goals and being outplayed, entering the 3rd period in Edmonton. But they showed that killer instinct and seem to never let an opportunity go wasted. This is the icing on the cake, on why I think they will be the Champs.

Hes part of this current lineup and its sucess. He's gutsy and plays with an edge. good passer.

He frustrates me with his inability to score at times and not that great defensively.

He seems to really play well with Panarin, but as we are seeing that doesn't correlate to strong play in the post season. Bottom line, I think he'll be too expensive for what he brings to the table.
