He plays crazy minutes and even the best NHLers lose weight and muscle over the course of the season. Combine that with a small frame and he could be in the 170s pretty easily.

If I am running the Rangers, I STEAL this Al Murray guy from TB and pay him a gazillion dollars to draft players for the Rangers. We place TONS of emphasis on Allaire being the goalie wizard......but who does he help......2 maybe 3 goaltenders? Not minimizing that......but if you get me someone that can DRAFT players like he does........how much is that worth? That, along with good coaching with AHL affiliate, you have to be able to DEVELOP players. No stagnation!

Same question every year for TBL; when the chips are down in a playoff series, can they do the hard yards as a team?

I have my doubts. They have the talent but they still haven't shown they have the extra ingredient for ultimate success.
If they have that extra step, I haven't seen it, is all I am saying.

It's A LOT more likely that Al Murray guy is running hot than he's that much better than everyone else at picking out 17 year olds. Statistical outliers happen all the time.
