Pionk was carrying the puck up ice a while ago, way more than the last while. It was one of the things that I thought added a dimension to the Rangers exit from their own zone.
He doesn't seem to even try that anymore. Just a thought, but does anybody else think somewhat along these lines?
I'm not talking about his skills defending, which are full of holes.

The guy has been absolutely brutal. Where have the pro-Pionk guys been for the past few weeks? I’m pretty much the only one left, and even I’m disappointed in him.

Tampa is scary as all hell with the puck in the offensive zone and they forecheck really effectively with 2 man pressure, but man their defense has been not great for such a good team when the Rangers establish possession.
