I would have cared as much if this year was going to suck if we still had our 1st. lol

Anyway, bad game for Hank and everything else sucked. I can't take anything positive away from this, sorry.

I want him to hustle, play hard, keep his feet moving, shoot the puck, use his speed to his advantage, use his size to his advantage, play with a chip on his shoulder, hit someone, show aggression....should I continue?

Playing his linemates is a cop out. He has the tools, but he's afraid of being put in the, as JD would call it...the chateau bow wow....

and the bold is the issue, that isn't development being nailed to the bench. I'm not anti-Torts like many here but this is an area he needs to work on

Easy to say when Nash isn't playing, but yeah I miss Dubi as a glue guy a lot. AA I think is being remembered a little too fondly for what he did here IMO.

Dubi too. He frustrated us on the ice and with his holdout. It was a great trade.

He's the new whipping boy. Some fans need a player to direct their negative energy towards, regardless of facts.
I guess so if only the kid got a chance to play with nash or hagelin but Torts doesnt want to hurt the process lol

What facts?

Point out to me some "facts" that make Kreider a good player this season.

I hate the way Torts has been handling him, but he hasn't been good this season. He isn't the root of all problems, he isn't my whipping boy. I have his jersey, FFS, I love him as a player. But he needs to be a LOT better if he's gonna stick at the NHL level.

Yeah, I worded that wrong.

That being said, he needs to be better. I really don't understand how he can be so effective as a rookie in the playoffs, and then come in during the regular season and look so uninspired and intimidated for most of the time he's played. He's WAY better than he's shown this season.

I'd suggest he's playing timid because he's afraid of the consequences from Tortorella should he make a mistake. It's a great way to ruin an offensively talented player.

I love Hank. But "only one goal was his fault" is not an excuse when the goal was as bad as that one happened to be. It was the difference. And it was brutal. He's carried us for seven years, it's not sacrilege to place blame on him tonight. I'm not worried about him going forward. But tonight, he was bad.

Yeah that bad angle shot that he kicked right to Jokinen's stick was the D's fault. Lundqvist loses a game by himself and people still defend him. He's been bad this year, it's time to call a spade, a spade.

Hahahaha! Oh wait, you're serious? :amazed: :help:

Unreal, thanks King. The team actually scores 3 goals and he gives up 4. What a joke. Some franchise goalie he is. Thanks for losing the game for us.

An under appreciated goat in this game is Mash. His poor/weak play led to goals 2 and 3. No reason for this guy to be here; none.

Someone has eyes! He should be gone before Kreider, but he won't be.

If Nash can go on Thursday you better believe Kreider is headed back to the A. Miller should have a ticket right behind him, as should Mash.

The fact that the kid is a first year player with a tremendous amount of talent stuck on the fourth line with his style of play being held back by an offensively draining Tortorella system?

It's not like the team was playing great hockey even before he was injured.

They were winning more often than they have been without him and he was playing great hockey.

We could have kept a lot of the other guys we lost outside of the Nash trade but we didn't - Feds and Prust for example. I'm starting to wonder if it wouldn't have been worth paying them more than I'm regretting the Nash trade.

I actually liked Miller's game tonight.

Mashinter sucks. Get rid of the loaf.

The team was playing pretty good hockey before Torts re-imserted boyle. It seems like ages ago but it isn't

Agreed. I understand the fans frustration, and the fact that they see the goalie as the last line of defense. But no goalie in the history of the game or those to come can cover every shot, rebound after rebound. A Dmen that screens the goalie when the shooter is 3 feet out. Look at the 1st goal, As an example, He makes 3 saves than is layed out on the ice and Jokien skates in by himself to tap it home. Pick him up and lay him out, but no we'll leave it up to lundy. If he makes the save he is a hero if he dosent we'll let the yellow bus riding fans blame him...lol

If Kreider needs to play with Stepan or Richards just to score a goal, then he's no good to begin with. Simple as that.

Was given a chance to play with Richards and Gaborik, he didn't look good in the top-6. Pretty invisible.

I want Torts fired, but holy ****, not everything is his fault.
