He probably doesn’t need the extra wear and tear at this point as a rookie. As opposed to Georgiev who was probably getting stale sitting so much.

You may be right but how much 'wear and tear' is he really getting playing less than 13 mins a night? Surely game time for a 20 y/o is more important than sitting in the stands?

Took a week off hockey for finals (last time, thank goodness). I don't wanna do any work tonight, so stay nice to each other. Generally helps when they play well.

Truly touching and why we have the best team in the league when it comes to giving and social responsibility

They shouldn't yo-yo him from the AHL to the NHL. If their plan is to just sit him for a game or two it's not a big deal, if it's any longer than that, he should just go back until further notice.

Someone needs to make a gif of that kid in the goalie gear mimicking what hank does during the anthem

Stupid parents can’t even put that kids pads on properly without the straps hanging on his skates. No wonder he ate shit.

He's played less than 20 mins of competitive hockey in 2 weeks. Normally I'd say no to yo-yoing, but with this schedule he needs playing time

Chytil messed up, did well, and messed up again in about 6 seconds. His APM is off the charts.

Ehh, this is an overemphasized concept. I don't think it's as big a deal as many make it out to be. Long term trend, absolutely, a week or two, it's not that big of a deal. He's also practicing with the NHL team which some could argue is more valuable than games at the AHL level.
