He may not be worth $8m a year, but he does a lot to justify keeping him IMO. He’s a key to their defenseman IMO, I like the Miller - Trouba pairing, also the Lindgren - Fox pairing, just need a legit 3rd pairing, hoping next year Nils comes over, makes the roster, then the 6th D is between guys like Hajek, Rykov, Reunanen, and Robertson, and maybe Schneider if he develops quickly. Of course Hunter Skinner needs to be signed by June 1, but he’d probably be in the AHL, while we won’t see Zachary Jones for a bit, I know he’s a promising prospect. We have a lot of really good Defensman on the team, and in the system.
