Idk man. If an elite level 1OA pick guy plays any position you'll see the skill pour out. The talent alone from him should be obvious. He's struggling more so than any 1OA I can remember.

We're blessed to have him. I'm sure we all want so much more.

I think you'll end up getting the player you want in the end but changes need to be made.
It's going to take some time

I hate these power play groupings. Panarin has the ability to QB a PP by himself and so does Fox. The second unit has no one who can play that role. Separate the two. Put Miller on the top PP with Panarin. Put Kakko there instead of Zib. Put Zib and Fox on the second unit with Laf and Buch. The second unit never gets set.

they are poorly coached. Personnel is half the battle.

hes an awful puck handler and isnt much of a shooter. he has no business being on the powerplay.

I've said it for as long as we've had him. Theoretically he could be useful in front of the net because he likes battling down there, but he's not actually effective at it. So, having him out there is completely pointless since he's not actually good at any of the things that you'd want on the PP.

At least Mika shows a flash once in a while Lafreniere is just lost. We don't have the coaching in place to develop him. Gorton will ruin this franchise by keeping Quinn.
