Not a chance. If Washington is prepared, I guarantee Laviolette has them bulldozing their way out from the get go. Jump on ya early. Miller back? Hasn’t played in two games. Would be surprised if it isn’t 1-0 Caps within two mins.

Not even close to confident. Afternoon games was never a strongpoint for ANY Rangers team in the past. Maybe with covid, no late nights/out on town thing going on, might produce different result.
Who do we count on? Quinn having a solid gameplan?
You know who will have a good game? Smitty. Gonna bring it.
Kreider might have a good game too, as he knows everyone will be watching. Haha.

Has anyone fully reported on this roster move crap? Do the guys actually get paid less when they do this, or is it just a cap trick?
If the guys are getting paid less, how does this not completely piss them off? Seems like a very short sighted strategy.
i originally didnt think it did, but i believe Brooks wrote that it costs them about $5k each day.
A new meaning for paying your dues aa a rookie.
sucks for them, but its like being in a corporate environment where u need to work x years to get certain things. Like extra vacay days, or even to secure matching for 401k.

Dude f*** that. It’s not like those things at all.
It’s more like hey kid, because you’re a kid and because we can, we’re going to pay you less every other paycheck and you’re going to continue to work as normal. This is supremely f***ed up in a season where the players have already had to make concessions due to decreased revenue.

I’m usually never confident that I’ll see a good performance by the Rangers in a 12:30pm start. They’re more often than not flat and uninspired in these afternoon games. With that being said, I have Vanacek starting in fantasy so I fully expect him to get lit up. Colin Blackwell scores 9 goals today.
