aufheben adding some much needed color to the OP. Needs more hard-hitting analytics though...

Thursday Record 2013-14
Rangers: 6-6
Wild: 7-3-2

This season:

Rangers have won 100% of their games against the Wild

Rangers have won 100% of games where they shut out their opponent

Rangers have not lost with Ryan Haggerty playing

Talbot is playing = shutout = win

These, are the facts

Or the ability to sound coherent while on pain killers.

"Gee Sam....ya know, this arena....uh, what's it called? Energy Place? Anyway...I like all the banners."

"Hey Sam, could you go grab me some of that cotton candy? I can't make it down there, and don't want to wait until intermission. Thanks Sam. Smart play there by Lund-...er, Talbot."

I love Maloney on broadcasts though. He's like a JD 2.0

Be curious to see Poo on that line with MSL. I remember him having some good chemistry with he and Lecavalier when he was in Tampa. Plus that line could use some muscle.

if your considering Poo to be the muscle on one of the Rangers scoring lines, the Rangers need more grit than i thought and are softer than butter.. :help:

Tonight is the night MSL is a game breaker. More comfortable with his new teammates. Team responds well from terrible carolina game

It better be. Getting down to the wire, and it would be a pretty ugly situation to miss of the playoffs after all we gave up for MSL.

My buddy who's a Tampa fan says those two together were a disaster and had no chemistry at all. Did you watch them a lot?

Pouliot makes magic happen where ever he goes: fact.

In 2012-13, the Lightning scored 76.9% of the goals (52.1% of all the Corsis) in the 146:34 St. Louis played with Pouliot. In the 648:48 without, it's 47.8% of the goals and 46.8% of the Corsis.

Carcillo in for Dorsett:

Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault announc[ed] Thursday morning that Carcillo would return to the lineup tonight when the Rangers skate against the Minnesota Wild at the Xcel Energy Center.

Diaz and Haggerty out:

...Vigneault stated that there would not be any other changes to the lineup...

AV could tinker with the lines though:

[Vigneault] did add that he could tinker with his forward line combinations, as he did during Tuesday's defeat in Raleigh. Part of his reasoning for considering making some moves centers on trying to get Marty St. Louis in a comfortable fit, and making sure each of the lines has a "net presence"--a player who routinely parks himself in front of the other team's goal.
