Great great trade. Not sure you could even remotely expect anything better and waiting for a "bidding" war would be a mistake. Now if necessary you can attach one of those picks to get rid of Nemeth and you just saved 5 million.

Tinordi signing sucked too. And as much as I like Blais, that Buch trade was also underwhelming. But overall I think Drury’s done alright.

Good deal for Drury for sure. I like the idea of stock-piling later round picks. Beyond the 1st round, so many of these picks are rolls of the dice. It probably gives him the ammunition to take a couple of Russians later in the draft as well if desired
