What's the best answer? Use all digits 0-9, with no repeats.
I've got:
J. Tanner Miller (47) - Jean Ratelle (19) - Jaromir Jagr (68)
Brian Leetch (2) - Barry Beck (5)
Henrik Lundqvist (30)
Damn, I set myself up for that one.Rangers Fartdoku haha
You don’t have 7. You need to replace Bill Gadsby with Joel Bouchard. The secret to this game is that 1 player has to be 10 20 or 30. This is true for a lot of teams probably, but definitely for the Rangers. From there exactly two players can have two-digit numbers. So in the end three of your players have to have a one-digit number, which really narrows your choices.
Here's a version where all players are in their primes:
Luc Robitaille (20) - Phil Esposito (5) - Jaromir Jagr (68)
Bill Gadsby (4) - Tim Horton (3)
Jacques Plante (1)

Dream pairing. Gives you a little bit of everything.also missing 9...needs to replace both dmen with Matt Gilroy (97) and Jason strudwick (34)
1. You are flouting the rules.Oops, I made a mistake even after writing those rules. Here's an alternate version.
Esa Tikkanen (10) - Phil Esposito (5) - Alex Kovalev (27)
Doug Harvey (2) - Tim Horton (3)
Terry Sawchuk (30)
Another challenge is that you want to make the single-digit numbers >= 5 if possible because once you get above the 30s it starts it get challening to find good players. There aren't many players like Jagr. Also working with #7 is really difficult if you don't just make Rod Gilbert your RW.
I think Lafreniere should pick #17.

Edit: You're right, I messed up again. It's actually 4 players that get double digit numbers and two players that single digit numbers.
So...
Adam Graves (9) - Phil Esposito (5) - Guy Lafleur (10)
Doug Harvey (2) - Dan Girardi (46)
Terry Sawchuk (30)
Tanner Glass (15) - P.J. Stock (20) - Donald Brashear (87)
Brad Brown (4) - Dylan McIlrath (6)
Dan Cloutier (39)
Keep in mind you're not getting Dale Purinton at his peak with #45.Mike Rupp 71 - Roman Lyashenko 29 - Michal Grosek 8
Dale Purinton 45 - Rumun Ndur 36
Andy Aitkenhead 0
Keep in mind you're not getting Dale Purinton at his peak with #45.
This is great because then we can actually keep Fast and have him change his number again.I think Lafreniere should pick #17.
Rod Gilbert (7) Petr Nedved (93) Jaromir Jagr (68)
Sergei Zubov (21) Dan Girardi (46)
Mike Richter (35)
have 2 3s in there (35 & 93)
