They could probably use a good ECHL goalie for next year, with the hope that he can take a good step next year and then progress to the AHL at 22 years old. He needs to play 40-50 games next year no matter where he is.

Guess the plan will be to not qualify Lindbom and have Ollas get most of his reps in the ECHL next year. Glad he’s signed though. It’ll be fun if Allaire can work this 6’8 mutant into a high-level goalie

Merrimack was kind of shit this year but Hugo's save % was .908 and he kept his GAA under 3.00. His wins to losses weren't very good but what are you going to do when your team isn't very good or at least to the competition.

Ollas is really really big. Another 6'8 guy. Hopefully he shows more than Lindbom or Boyko.

Ollas is very talented. He needs technical work and in particular to focus on his positioning, which he has a hard time with being so big. But there is real talent there and a non-zero chance that he has NHL potential. He's probably an organizational guy but if things break right, you never know.
