Tinordi isn't really a NHL regular but man, must it be hard to not play for months on end and then get thrown in to a few games here or there. These guys who sit forever have a pretty hard job to stay up to speed.

Oh in the offseason. Not sure I get the logic though. Even if there were multiple bidders (I'm sure there were), presumably the Rangers were the highest bidder. If another team wasn't comfortable with the contract then, why would they now?

and ironically, for the 'asset management' and 'something for nothing' guys,
he may actually have more trade value as waiver-cleared depth D, than he had as a 'free' claim
