Or wanted to come to NY.Maybe. But not sure if those defensemen would be looked as not a big deal to sit or send to AHL
The second he left a rangers uniform behind, he became merely one of the worst dmen in the league. Worst is always reserved for one of our players, as deemed by fantastical HFNYR hysterics.I thought Marc Staal was the worst defenseman in the league? I'm confused.
It’s only for a year, so I’m not going to lose sleep over this, but still, they could’ve done better.
Why’d you have to bump this? I literally forgot we signed him.![]()
I'm surprised this didn't make it over sooner.
Right on. He wont. Because it would take some showing for anyone to step right in with the already young defenseman we have. I imagine the thinking is, that he would "somewhat" replace the seasoned veteran that Staal was as Johnson has "got to be" bringing something to the table. This was hardly a "marquee" signing. But certainly serves a purpose. Yeah, step away, it is what it is. Our PK stinks, maybe, just maybe he can help there.Folks need to step away from the ledge and relax over a 1 year/1m cheap band aid of a contract. This next season is about gauging how the younger players are developing. People thinking Johnson will take time away from a prospect like Miller making his way into the lineup are out to lunch. We won’t remember Jack Jonson this time next year. Stick to the plan... defense will take at least another season to get going.
