There we go. Like that signing. Mentioned him as soon as he wasn't qualified.

And, oh my god!! The Rangers actually have a 3rd liner on the roster!!

Hmm do we still have room for other RFAs or does these leave zuccs out?

Kreider-Brassard-Nash
Hagelin-Stepan-Cally
Pouliot/Boyle-Richards-Zucc?/xxxx
Boyle/Pouliot-Moore-Dorsett

I don't think they are done.

Any details yet on term/money?

Depth is definitely building up here. Prospects will really have to earn their spot. How's Pouliot's physical play?

They'll be fine on the RFA front. You can go over the Cap 10% in the off-season. Powe, Asham, etc will get waived and sent down early in the season to make room for Moore and Pouliot.

We have depth with Zucc, hagelin, richarsd, krieder, brassard, dorsett, moore. We need a top 6.

We need Steven Stamkos.

Or any top flight player.

Top 6 would be nice but thats not easy to get.. if you can't add a top 6, you try to roll 4 solid lines instead of rolling AHLers out on the 4th line like we have in the past

Weird, did not see this coming at all. How many guys do they need?

Well atleast he has some offensive talent

This is a solid signing along with Dominic Moore. Improving the bottom six was MUCH needed. And I see there are a lot of naysayers...as usual. According to AV, he said that they wanted to give some of the younger folks a shot at the roster this year. So this is perfect.

Pouliot had 20 points last year in 34 games. He missed 11 games with a sprained shoulder. He was on pace for roughly 40+ points in a normal 82 game season. That is solid depth for the rangers. He had 32 points the prior year in 74 games, a career high for him. 30 points the year before that. His game has been improving. He is only 26 years old. Good move by sather.

With AV saying he's gonna give young guys a shot and adding a couple of legit 3rd liners here, we have something we haven't had in a long time: competition for bottom 6 spots. Now maybe we won't have to call up some corpse from Scrubford when there's an injury.
