I didn't mind Hertl pulling the move. Our team becomes less able to stop it because of the prior goals we allowed? He never should have been able to do it, and score, in the first place. Yeah, it's showy. He also just had his first hat-trick, was probably on cloud nine and figured "eh, if I mess up, no one will care on this one".

Either way, kid is one to watch for the Calder.

I wouldn't mind someone taking a run at Hertl for the move. Lay him out (don't need to throw a high hit or a cheap shot, but just let him know that hotdogging crap isn't welcome).

But this team doesn't have a set so it would never do that.

I hope Nash is Okay. Stuart has been around a long time and has never been seen as a dirty player (as far as I know) - and I missed that part of the game. I want to see the hit later, but I would be surprised if it was intentional.

I feel bad for the rangers, but this is turning out to be a historic game. The rangers have had some really bad hockey luck piled on top of being gassed on a late west coast game on back to back nights - of course they would be tired - they are nowhere near as bad as they look. It's just the perfect storm against them.

Also, there seem to be two Boyles each wearing 22..
