This Rangers team **** teases me so much. I was about to drop them and consider them a lost cause against the Capitals. Then they tied it and got a hard earned point. Then they beat up on the Flyers which got me back on them.

Now this..........

Honestly, I watch every game, though I don't know why anymore. It is not rewarding, relaxing, exciting or, in any way, enjoyable. I work full-time. I hit the gym on the way home every night and I get home at around 6:45pm. I watch the Rangers until 9:40ish each night, maybe watch other games end or catch the beginning of a west coast game and go to bed. It's a poor use of my time. I'm not getting anything out of it. I'm not being entertained. I'm not enjoying myself. There is no reward, as a fan. If we were Colorado or Edmonton or Toronto, it wouldn't be the case. Not because those teams are better than us, but because their games are entertaining. They play hockey. There's skill, puck movement, excitement. I'll always love the Rangers and bleed blue (and that answers WHY I continue to watch each night despite getting nothing out of it), but it's getting harder and harder to care this season, and not because of the record, but because we're a disgusting, sloppy, heartless, boring, boring, boring team. Hank is the only bright spot. He's brilliant.

I completely agree with you and I have a similar structure to my day as well...its not rewarding and when the game ends, I don't feel satisfied because I know this team is capable of much more...what kind of BS is this? Who is at fault here is not important anymore, this just doesn't feel like Rangers hockey to me felt. It's the New York Strangers.

I never wanted to say this here because its very controversial. but I truly never thought Ryan Callahan had what it takes to be CAPTAIN of the team.

I guess growing up with Messier truly spoiled me. But I am really sick of his vanilla boxed answers after every game, and rarely showing fire.

He has lots of heart, and soul...but there are certain times you need to show some fire, and he rarely shows that. He's too nice of a guy.

I know in the locker room, things could be different, but I can tell the type of dude he is, and while im sure he has a temper, I don't think he has the effect on all the other players that a guy like Messier had.

That is the difference.

He definitely is a lead by example type, similar to Drury or Jagr.

It's not a problem if there are other fiery personalities in the locker room.

But this season, who on this team is firing up the locker room? Richards? Boyle? Too many laidback guys on this team and not enough players who wear their hearts on their sleeves.
